If you’ve ever been on the weight loss rollercoaster ride you know all too well all the trials and tribulations that come along with that – lose 20 pounds, gain 10 pounds, lose 10 pounds, gain 20 pounds. It’s hard on your body, it’s hard on your self esteem, and it’s hard on your clothes closet!
But if you are like so many people, it can be so challenging to fit everything into your day and still do the things you know you need to do to maintain a healthy weight. Sometimes doing all that needs to be done to really maintain weight loss is hard – there’s just no doubting that fact. It’s all about priorities and between work, and family, and volunteering, and all the other commitments in your day, squeezing in enough exercise to affect the scale is sometimes just too daunting.
But the good news is that there are products out in the market today that can help give you that little extra boost that you sometimes need. We all know what it feels like to lose those first five or ten pounds – it’s quickly kind of addicting and once you’re on the downward side of the scale, it’s more motivating to keep on going.
There are so many diet supplements available it can be kind of challenging finding one that is going to work for you. But if you have been reading the media or listening to the news or if you caught an episode of Dr Oz recently, then you have probably heard about raspberry ketone.
Raspberry ketone is a supplement that has been derived from the raspberry plant and although it’s been around for several decades, it’s only recently found its fame, partly because of Dr Oz’s recommendations and other TV and news coverage.
There really is no substitute for healthy eating and a good routine of fitness. You can start taking raspberry ketone combined with your diet to give yourself an extra boost. Taking some time to look at your eating habits to see what you can improve upon is important.
For example, try outlining your meal plan for the week. Write in a daily dose of vegetables and fruit then add in your meats and grains. Fruits and vegetables are lower in calories and can help fill you up for a longer period of time. The added fiber also helps to bulk up your meals and of course your body will love all the yummy nutrients and vitamins that are packed into a delicious salad or stir fry.
By eating grains you are also giving your body the additional fuel it needs. Avoid anything ‘white’ – that is a good rule of thumb (cauliflower is one exception). So eating brown carbs such as whole wheat bread, brown rice, and whole grain pastas is much healthier than the standard white breads, rice, and pastas that are so prevalent in the grocery stores.
Of course, eating sufficient lean protein means you will be fuller and more satisfied. Your body also needs the protein to help cope with all that extra exercise you are going to start incorporating into your daily routine. And as tough as it is – moving more, eating less still is the key to any successful weight loss plan.
You also need to supply your body with the right fats such as unsaturated fats that are found in fish and nuts. Just make sure you avoid any trans fats or hydrogenated fats as they are very
unhealthy for you and won’t help you lose weight, that’s for sure.
Drink lots of water and for sure, give raspberry ketone a try. It might just be the perfect solution to help you get started off on the right foot and help you gain and maintain that healthy body that you’ve always wanted!
